Werner’s T-shirt

You’ll be like a walking, talking rainbow while out and about wearing this lovely cream top.

The front features a table of delightfully named swatches from Patrick Syme’s book Werner’s Nomenclature of Colours, such as ‘pansy purple’, ‘mountain green’ and ‘chocolate red’. First published in 1814, it was used by artists and naturalists, including Charles Darwin, to describe wildlife in a consistent way before the advent of photography. 

The reverse side of the short-sleeved t-shirt is plain and it’s all made from 100% organic cotton, farmed in a way that supports soil health, water efficiency and biodiversity.
