Triceratops Horridus Medal

You can see the skull of a massive, plant-eating Triceratops on display in our Dinosaurs Gallery – and this gold-coloured medal is an awesome souvenir of it.

On one side is the skeleton of Triceratops horridus, along with the time it roamed Earth, 72–66 million years ago. Flip it over to see a painted depiction of the animal, roaring against a backdrop of jungle-like trees and a red-hot sky. Framed in black around the rim are the words ‘Natural History Museum London’.

The medal comes in a protective Perspex case.
