Ever wondered if it’s just us in the universe? If lifeforms exist elsewhere in space? We think about it a lot, here at the Museum. In fact, we have a whole new exhibition dedicated to the breakthroughs in the budding science of astrobiology – and this is the accompanying book.  

Focusing on Mars, exoplanets, the icy moons of Saturn and Jupiter, asteroid debris whizzing about in the solar system and how early life on Earth flourished, our experts share their understanding of what’s possible. Together with images of NASA’s and the European Space Agency’s scientific instruments and exploration spacecraft, you’ll be able to discover more about the worlds beyond ours.
