Journey of a Thousand Miles Compass

The antique-style compass has a brass base – perfect for holding down maps – with the words A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step engraved around the rim. Inside the glass dome the white compass card is mounted on a brass bearing, surrounded by a ‘rose’ of 16 black directional points. Its four 90-degrees sections use abbreviated numbers 0–9 and are encircled by nautical rope pattern.
