Axolotl Bucket Hat for Kids

Axolotls can be cute, pink and endearing – much like this children’s sun hat. The bucket-style design is based on the distinctive features of these amphibians, including the frilly external gills, ‘smiling’ mouth and wavy tail at the back. 

Interestingly, these tadpole-like creatures are often described as being in a conservation paradox, whereby they’re critically endangered in their native wetlands of Mexico, but their pet population is increasing.
