Ammonite Fossilstone

This lovely, textured, decorative ornament will bring a whirl of joy to lovers of the natural world.

The ammonite shape has been expertly carved from the finest marble, sourced in the foothills of the Himalayas in Pakistan. Ammonites lived in the oceans during the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. Their shells were made up of chambers, known as septa, that increased in size the further along the spiral they were as they grew.

The smooth marble gives it a fossil effect, but this is not a fossil ammonite.
