The A6 notepad’s front cover has one of most memorable images from our sixty-first Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which opened in October 2025.
Entitled Wake-up Call, it captures the moment when a lionness stares down at an Egyptian cobra moving up a rock towards it. Gabriella Comi took the shot in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, which is home to 3,000 lions.
