Pink, fluffy and fun, this wonderful wader will add a touch of the tropics to the play den. What's more, 40% of the outer fluff and all of the inside are made from recycled plastic (polyethylene terephthalate), known as RPET.

But do you know why baby flamingos are grey, but adults are pink? They use their long limbs to navigate deep water, feeding on shrimp and microalgae, both of which contain orange pigments called carotenoids. Molecules of these pigments - the same ones that give carrots their colour - get absorbed into the birds' feathers and turns them pink.
