Description / Cambrian Quartzite Geology Specimen on a Stand

Geology lovers will adore this beautiful ornament, sculpted by time and pressure 526–508 million years ago during the Cambrian Period in what is now Lairg, Scotland.

Each numbered piece of this pale metamorphic rock – one of a limited edition of 27 – is unique and measures 10–15 centimetres tall. It comes displayed on a stainless-steel mount, which means you can appreciate its intricate detail from all angles.

This decorative rock comes from a larger section chosen by our experts for use in the Evolution Timeline wall in our gardens.
