Sun-touched tulip wall print

Serge noticed this delicate flower during a walk along a lane in Hérault, southern France. He knew it to be a subspecies of the wild tulip Tulipa sylvestris, distinguished by the scarlet tint on the back of the petals. The background was full of distracting elements, but Serge isolated the tulip in the frame, setting it against gentle colour through close focusing.
