This Morning I Met a Whale

At 5 o'clock, Michael, a young boy having a walk before breakfast, discovers a whale in the river. The whale gives him a message about the damage humans are doing to the Earth and what he needs to do to fix this. Armed with this message, Michael makes a promise to the whale and faces a battle against time to make a change.

Based on the 2006 stranding of a northern bottlenose whale in the Thames, this fictional book is an ideal place for children to begin learning about environmental damage, pollution and the responsibility we have to ensure improvement.
