If, like myself, you dearly love the museum, you will find this book to be extremely rewarding. Mainly a pictorial essay covering the beginnings of the museum and the first half of the 20th century, still there is still enough accompanying text to make for a good read. The pictures are reproduced very well, and the text is quite informative whether it's factual information or entertaining anecdotes. You can't help but smile when you learn the rumoured fate of a certain part of the lost Adam's statue. An absorbing book whose value exceeds the little amount it costs. (Posted on 14/05/2018)
