The coaster has a design inspired by the Museum’s iconic buildings, galleries and the collections we care for.

The circular design incorporates Museum motifs, objects and specimens such as the blue whale, the giant sequoia and the Earth globe sculpture. The original illustration was created in fine liner pen using a combination of life drawing and copying from photographs and books, then digitally coloured.

Product features

The coaster measures 10cm in diameter, has a felt-back base and has been specially designed exclusively for the Natural History Museum.
