The original watercolour was painted by the Australian artist Ron Scobie A.S.M.A. Print size 50 x 40cm. It was during the voyage that Darwin noticed that different species of mockingbirds lived on different islands in the Galapagos and this discovery sparked his idea of evolution by natural selection.
