The hand-crocheted mini clutch bag is made from over 200 post-consumer recycled aluminum ring pulls from old soft drink cans. It is lightweight with an supple aluminium shell and a beautiful silver satin lining and measures 12x24x3cm. The main section of the bag can be secured with a zip.

Each bag is made by hand in Brazil by women working in cooperatives under Fair trade conditions. Workers achieve a fair living wage for the products and they also receive donations of computers, furniture, educational training and a percentage of sales from Escama Studio, who supply the bags to us. The bag comes with a tag signed by the person who created it. You can view their biographies and learn more about the origin of the product at the Escama Studio website, www.escamastudio.com
